Working alone at home or with an Alexa dot or similar device? You can easily connect your Alexa device to your Ok Alone lone worker account using our Ok Alone skill and then manage your status by telling Alexa your current status.
Once your dot device is connected to your Ok Alone account with our Alexa skill you are ready to get started.
To start your shift say to your Alexa device. “Alexa, ask Ok Alone to start my shift“. Alexa will then respond with your check in time.
To check in as a lone worker say the following to Alexa. “Alexa, ask Ok Alone to start my shift”. Alexa will then respond with your new check in time.
To get help say the following “Alexa, ask Ok Alone for rescue”.
It is important to use the word rescue. Alexa will then send a help alert to all your monitors and live monitoring if your account uses this service.
To get your current status ask “Alexa, ask Ok Alone for my status”. Alexa will then respond with your current status, which may be your check in time or that you are not working.
