We’ve added what3words to our lone worker system to provide an alternative way of describing a worker’s last know location.
what3words is a simple way to identify precise locations. Every 3 metre square has been given a unique combination of three words. For example, the exact location of Parliament Hill, London can be found at ///tower.defeat.land
what3words addresses are as accurate as GPS coordinates, but easier to communicate and share over the phone or radio. It’s the simplest way to communicate a precise location to team members across the business. Learn more about how it works here: https://bit.ly/2zOA46a
Many companies and emergency services around the world are using what3words to locate people in emergencies, our integration means that any last know location for a worker can easily be translated into a what3words location.
