Automatic Alerts for Injured or Unresponsive Workers

How it Works
The Man/Worker Down system is calibrated to detect movement, or more importantly a lack of movement. Using an employee’s own smartphone, the Man Down feature can be set to a period of time between 3 minutes to 1 hour. If there has been no movement within that time frame an alert sounds. This alert allows the worker to check in and verify they are fine (without setting off a false alarm).
If the worker does not respond, a non-movement alert is sent to their supervisor. They can then attempt contact and, if needed, use the dashboard map to locate the worker and dispatch help or medical assistance.

Benefits
Lone workers can feel confident knowing that, no matter where they are or what happens, the Man Down feature ensures someone will be alerted if they need emergency assistance.
- Automatic Emergency Alerts – If a worker becomes unconscious or immobile, the system triggers an alert to request help.
- Hands-Free Activation – Simply placing a phone in a still position can intentionally trigger an alert, useful for those injured but conscious.
- Medical Emergency Support – Provides peace of mind for workers in remote areas who may not be able to call for help.
- Discreet Alert for Violent Situations – A phone placed out of sight can trigger an alert if motion stops, ensuring silent protection in high-risk scenarios.

Man Down Overview
The Man/Worker Down feature is a critical safety tool for lone and remote workers, detecting non-movement and triggering alerts when assistance may be needed. By using a worker’s existing smartphone, there’s no need for additional hardware, making it a simple and effective solution.
This feature ensures that if a worker becomes immobile due to injury or an emergency, an alert is sent—allowing for a rapid response and potentially preventing a minor incident from becoming a workplace tragedy. While it can’t stop injuries from happening, it helps ensure that no worker is left without assistance when they need it most.
